There are so many misplaced priorities in this govt

You guys should stop gaslighting us about subsidy removal
The problem is not the subsidy but the corruption inherent in it
Has subsidy removal solved the problem of corruption?
Just last week, a building was renovated for 39bn. This time last year, another building was completed for 21bn
The total insertions into the budget is over 6trn.
If corruption is still alive and kicking among the political class, the so-called savings from subsidy will simply be wasted and mismanaged nay looted
Subsidy was supposed to be a balancing act in the economy until the long arms of corruption hit it
Even till now, no one can say for certain how much NNPCL makes and how much it's supposed to truly remit. The so-called allocation increase is mainly coming from VAT and naira devaluation and not any increased remittances

I’ve said it a few times that some of his aides are biggest problem and a few need to be fired!

First of all you announce 2 living persons as under posthumous now you award OON to someone with CON.

I blame Gbaja! I don’t like him and I have never liked him. This kind of thing is his responsibility and should not have ed his desk if he were a competent chief of staff!
It's not about Gbaja or any other individual
This also happened under Buhari as well
APC as a political party is cursed
The party was founded on a faulty foundation of hate, lies, lust and ethno-religious bigotry
That's why they only excel at divisive politics and propaganda and fail abysmally at governance be it in economy, security or any serious indices of national growth or development
I only pity those who and defend them especially when they have nothing they personally gain from the govt

My question is this: if Atiku wins and quits after 4 years, do you think the north will be happy to see the presidency go back to a southerner who will likely be there for the next eight years?
No one is discussing 2031 here
The discussion is 2027. Let the north worry about 2031. If we're to go by your logic of happiness, the north should still be in charge today

So as how you claimed Peter Obi was part of those who founded APGA
What useless video
Has Tinubu ever denied what Bisi Akande wrote in his book?
Stop behaving like a child pls

It will be better he doesn't contest than be a running mate to Atiku.
Atiku is hungry for power not for bringing development to Nigeria
Who is not hungry for power among them? Let's not kidding ourselves pls. You think going out to face the evils and complexities in politics is child's play?

Nobody said Obi should run alone. I didn't read that in the article. Obi should work with coalition and get a very strong northerner as running mate..must Atiku contest?
Well, for me the only northerner that Obi can run with that will have a good chance of success is Kwankwaso. Any other person is a waste of time that will lead to serious electoral loss
Kwankwaso is not part of the coalition so the best bet for the coalition is an Atiku/Obi combo or they work on Kwankwaso

@ emboldened, why do you like to be lying deliberately just to prove no points? Who suggested Osinbajo as VP to Buhari?
Go and read Bisi Akande's book which Tinubu has not denied

This article is concise and the message well ed but I disagree with the message. Obidients and Obi need to be pragmatic. They need to understand and realise what they are up against. This is not 2023 when Buhari wanted a level playing field. Even with his good intentions, the political hawks in APC still managed to "glitch" the system. We're talking here of 2027 where Tinubu will be an incumbent running for a second term, where he has successfully subjugated almost every critical institution and apparatus. If Obi runs solo, the 2023 template will be replayed again. Simplicita.
His best bet now is VP to Atiku. He shouldn't allow anyone to gaslight him. Even Tinubu attempted to be VP to a Buhari. Anyone telling him to run alone is either just being sentimental or working for the APC.

Try Educate yourself abeg, Governors have the powers to design the green white green however they like.. Nothing is prohibited to them, the only thing prohibited is the flag that bears the military logo which is exclusive to the president.
Can you quote the law that says govs can design the flag how they like

Sir, I don't have issues with Obi or Sanwo or their aids.
I am only educating Nigerian that the President's flag is the one being displayed by both Sanwo Olu and Peter Obi and it's constitutionally wrong. Both Sanwo Olu and Peter Obi were wrong. Simplito.
I agree with you on that ground
But we should also call out the hypocrisy of Gawat who is seeing the speck in someone else's eyes while ignoring the his Oga's eyes simply because of corn

Two wrongs do not make a right.
It is only the president who is allowed to use the Nigerian flag with the coat of arm on it.
Both Obi and Sanwo Olu are wrong to use the flag with a coat of arm on it.

LET ME EDUCATE YOU AND EVERYONE

WHY THE PRESIDENT USES THE FLAG WITH THE COAT OF ARM ON IT.
1. Distinction of Office (Presidential Standard)

The flag with the coat of arms is known as the Presidential Standard. It is a variation of the national flag used specifically by the President of Nigeria. The coat of arms in the center signifies that the flag represents the office of the President, not just the country in general.

This version is flown or displayed:

At the President’s official residence (e.g., Aso Rock).

On vehicles, aircraft, or podiums when the President is present.

At international or state functions involving the President.

2. National Flag vs. Presidential Flag

The national flag (green-white-green, without the coat of arms) represents Nigeria as a nation and is used by the general public, institutions, and at most official events.

The Presidential version (with the coat of arms) represents the authority of the President specifically.

This practice aligns with global norms. Many countries have a modified version of the national flag for their heads of state or military leaders (e.g., the U.S. Presidential Seal on the U.S. flag, or the UK Royal Standard for the monarch).

ARE GOVERNORS PERMITTED TO USE THAT FLAG?
No, state governors in Nigeria are not authorized to use the national flag with the coat of arms on the white stripe—that version is reserved exclusively for the President and represents the federal executive authority.

VERDICT: Buhari was right to use the flag with the coat of arm on it. Obi and Sanwo Olu were wrong to use the flag with the coat of arm on it.

Thanks.
Go and paste this on Jubril Gawat's wall. Sanwo is his Oga and he did not educate his Oga all this while but is busy educating someone superior to his Oga
Nor be ment be dat?!!

It was really harsh
I never knew Obi had it in him to come for the god of agbado in such brutal manner. He even gave him assignment!!
He literally tore him to shreds and did the thing that usually riles them the most in their coven: He compared his performance with that of former presidents and came back with a damning verdict that's hard to rebut
Have you seen anyone of the agbado god's numerous aides attempt a rebuttal of that hard fact? One is busy looking for the flag behind Obi cheesy cheesy cheesy

Does he even know what a democracy is?
It's irresponsible to say that Nigeria is no longer a democracy, though not totally perfect. Why doesn't he just simply teleport himself back to the highly corrupt military dictatorship years of IBB and Sani Abacha then... I just ed, he served under Sani Abacha in the ports parastatal as well.

Coming from the same people who voted Buhari PTF chairman under Abacha
Tell us Obi's office under Abacha and expose yourself

This is the difference between Tinubu and Buhari
Everyone now knows that the easiest way to be in Tinubu's good side is to pledge allegiance and promise him so so and so number of votes. This is because Tinubu's organic base is very lean. I mean, they lost all major states in the south and north of the country in the last elections.
This is unlike Buhari who knows that come rain or shine, he has 12m votes in the kitty sitting pretty for him.
This is why Tinubu has to spend so much time and resources weakening the opposition and forcing loyalty, things Buhari never cared for.
You need to hand it to Buhari. He's the most popular politician of this time. Obi is also on that trajectory with his 6m votes in his first outing on a small platform.

Are you saying if a gov commits an impeachable offence, and he happens to be close to the president, all the president needs to do to save a friendly gov us declare a state of emergency and sack the gov and legislature?
Are we in a jungle or banana Republic?

What did you do when the problem started until it escalated

A leader like you could have brokered peace

A senator was handcuffed and dragged out by Trump security agents in America.

A drastic problem need drastic response

By now many pipelines would have gone in flames in Rivers but for the emergency
How you guys conveniently lie to yourselves never cease to amaze me
As in are you guys really sane, rational and logical humans?
The mastermind of the whole fracas in Rivers is a minister appointed by same Tinubu. The House is fighting his war with the gov. He issued threats and made inflammatory statements so many times against the governor and government of the state and even threatened other states.
Yet it is the governor that should be removed to foster peace.
I don't know what you guys think you're doing but be rest assured that you can't build a country on lies no matter how many people choose to embrace the lies

That woman on exile in London with Caribbean port was just one, out of 100 thieves stealing on a massive scale during Jonathan’s government. Even Jonathan let us know that stealing is not corruption. Jonathan and all the people that served during his time deserve to be arrested. Just let that man enjoy his theft in peace o.
And is stealing corruption?
If stealing is corruption why is Ganduje APC chair, Akpabio senate president and Wike Minister?
And that's besides the fact that Jonathan's statement was distorted. He never said stealing is not corruption

Most Nigerian states do not have the important agencies, manpower and equipment to deal with these type of thing. A lot of times, they rely on MEMA to help out.

I guess a lot of states simply don't have the funds to allocate to it. It is bad but the sad reality
Ogun state does not have the funds to run a state emergency agency?
Are you for real?
