Wow... your post has brought those nostalgic memories of the good old days. I had a lot of pen pals. NIPOST was our only means of communicating with them.

Iran makes noise a lot... someone has taken war to your doorstep, and you are still issuing all kinds of threats.

Peter wasn't poor o! undecided
But at the same time Mr Ibiyeomie was wrong Jesus only visited his rich disciples because he has human feelings as any poor friend of Jesus won't be happy to have Jesus and his Apostles visit only for the host to start thinking of how to entertain them.
What Mr Ibiyeomie failed to understand is that when Jesus was in the temple watching people dropping money into the treasury chest Jesus noticed a POOR WIDOW WHO DROPPED TWO COINS OF LITTLE VALUE said:

“Truly I say to you that this poor widow put in more than they all did. For all of these put in gifts out of their surplus, but she, out of her want, put in all the means of living she had" Luke 21:3-4

Perhaps Jesus hate her despite such high commendation! smiley

No one can deny the fact that Jesus also came to the world to save the poor. I also believe that there is no way you can preach the gospel without visiting people; the poor especially who are the easiest to reach compared to the rich whose door is always shut.

When a preacher or teacher of the word sees or realises that he or she is wrong or has taught heresies, he or she should be humble enough to it and come out to say so.

But Pastor Ibiyeomi seems bullish and continues to propergate his teachings.

I have seen and heard men of God like Pastor Adeboye come out to apologize when they say something wrong; what's stopping Ibiyeomi from doing same?

This is how mass protests start and spread to other places; the government will look the other way and pretend like it never happened.

Our politicians are too petty...Talking about casting the first stone, not a single member of the senate has the moral right to cast the first stone. In all of these (the Natasha recall process, the arranged protests, etc.), all I hear is the voice of Jacob and the hand of Esau. Akpabio and his croonies have spread their tentacles to Kogi. Kogi in my opinion, has bigger issues to deal with than recalling Natasha.

Since Nigerians have refused to start a similar business that will rival these folks, price hikes are inevitable. Nobody should summon them. A seller has a right to sell services at any price he deems good; that's why competition is good in business.

You are not exempted from starting one yourself...

We truly lack shame or what is there to commission in roads. Interesting the entire road spans led than 10 miles. He should be busy thinking of providing more infrastructure than the fanfare and waste of public funds that comes with the commissioning.

I wonder why we still live like we are in the 20th century.

A governor builds and commissions roads we complain, he doesn't, we still complain...why are we like this?

no matter how you explain some people will still need explanation.what is the connection between the poor masses and taxin of illicit funds, abi whats the essence of comprehension in English language self.

Is my response not clear enough that the elites will hardly be asked to explain how they came about illicit funds in their s?

At least show us you have a bit of honour even if you are paid to defend your masters...

Apparently, this will only affect the poor masses as people like Akpabio and the likes won't be affected.
